The Coin Strike: Hold and Win demo lets you learn the game before you play for a balance. A demonstration round shows the total bet, the spin control, the three-reel result and the feature prompts, and the Coin and Strike positions.
Everything here is about Playson’s original title; Coin Strike 2, Coin Strike XXL and Coin Strike XXL MultiCoin are different games. Open the main page for that boundary, how to play for the result order and features for the collector and bonus detail.
Start with the three-reel base game#
The layout is three reels, three rows and five fixed paylines. A regular win needs three matching regular symbols from reel one toward the right, the highest qualifying win pays on each line, and line wins are added. In a demo spin, wait for the reels to stop, then look for an ordinary three-of-a-kind before you move to the special symbols.
The Wild substitutes for regular symbols but not for Bonus or Strike, so use the demo to see the difference: a Wild helps an ordinary line, while Bonus and Strike drive the feature.
Find the outer coins and the centre Strike#
Once the line check is done, look at the outer reels. Coin symbols appear on reels one and three, Strike appears on the central second reel, and a central Strike collects the visible coin and jackpot values in base play and in the bonus. Spot the coins first, then check for a Strike between them.
The documented coin values are 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 10 and 15. Use the demo to learn how they look and where they land.
The original also has four fixed in-game jackpot labels: Mini, Minor, Major and Grand. The demo shows the difference between a tier label and an ordinary coin value.
Practise the Hold and Win trigger#
The bonus needs at least one Bonus symbol on every reel, with Strike on reel two. When a demo screen meets that condition, the feature starts with three respins. The trigger is an arrangement across all three reels plus the centre position.
During the feature, Strike symbols stay fixed in their positions, and a new Bonus symbol resets the remaining respin counter to three. Spot the fixed Strike positions, watch for a new Bonus symbol, then check the counter.
When the remaining respins reach zero, the feature ends and the accumulated Strike values are awarded.
Spot Pile of Gold#
Pile of Gold can add enough Bonus and Strike symbols to trigger the bonus. It is a chance feature, and the demo shows the screen state when it appears.
Coin Strike 2 uses a different grid with extra features, and the XXL products use other dimensions, so a demo of the original teaches you its own coins, Strike, trigger and counter.

Go from the demo to the real game#
Once you can read line wins, outer coins, the centre Strike and the respin counter, you are ready to play for a balance. Set an entertainment budget and a time limit first.
