Coin Strike 2: Hold and Win is the sequel to Coin Strike: Hold and Win, released by Playson on 24 July 2025. It keeps the fruit-machine look and the coin collection of the original and adds a fourth row, three more lines, the Super Strike Coin and a top win of 15,000x the stake.

Both games run on the same idea: Coins land on the outer reels and a collector on the middle reel gathers them. The sequel gives the bonus game more room and a higher ceiling, while the original stays the most compact way into Hold and Win.
How Strike Boost works
The Super Strike Coin is the new collector of Coin Strike 2. Like the Strike Coin, it lands on reel 2 and collects every Coin and jackpot in view. On top of that, it can trigger Strike Boost at random: a multiplier of up to 10x on its value, extra Bonus Coins or one of the four jackpots.
In the bonus game the round starts with three respins. Every Coin that lands stays in place and sets the counter back to three, so a full screen of Coins and collectors builds up spin after spin. The top prize of the whole game, 15,000x the stake, comes from this round.
Bonus Buy options
Where the casino offers Bonus Buy, Coin Strike 2 has three ways straight into the bonus game:
- Random Strike, 75x the bet: the round starts with one or more Strike Coins;
- High Strike, 200x the bet: Strike Coins and only high-value Bonus Coins;
- Super Strike, 300x the bet: only Super Strike Coins, with a guaranteed Strike Boost.
The price is a multiple of your current bet. Set your session budget first and pick the option that fits it.
Coin Strike 2 or the original: which to choose
Choose by the kind of session you enjoy:
- Coin Strike: Hold and Win if you like a compact 3x3 screen, five lines and a steady rhythm: Playson labels the original medium-high volatility.
- Coin Strike 2 if you want a bigger grid, the Super Strike Coin, Bonus Buy and a 15,000x ceiling. Its volatility is high: wins arrive less often and can be much bigger.
To learn the Hold and Win rhythm first, the Coin Strike demo runs the original on a virtual balance, and the review of the original explains how we rate these games.
